Mama Carlson's Mantel Art
Anyone know anything about the art piece which was hung over "Mama" Carlson's mantel? It depicted a Revolutionary-era hanging, if I remember correctly.

shareIf I recall correctly it was supposed to be an N.C. Wyeth painting. I have not been able to find a specific title for it and, in fact, the only online references I have seen after an admittedly short web search are WKRP references. That might suggest that the painting was fictitious and done in the N.C. Wyeth style as a joke specifically for the show.
It looked like a Wyeth, to me. He did a ton of magazine and book illustration, as well as fine art paintings. Could have come any one of those sources.
Fortunately, Ah keep mah feathers numbered for just such an emergency!
