Not cool, Shout! Factory :-(

The post office finally bothered to deliver my set today and one of the cases is broken inside and most of the rest are already cracked in the same spot. It certainly isn't insufficient packing protection, it's a manufacturing issue. Had I bought it in a brick and mortar store I'd just return it but mail ordering stuff is such a nightmare for me (thanks to horrific, long term delivery issues) that sending it back to Amazon over this isn't something I want to do. :-(

That bites... because as we know they weren't cheap either. The only problem I have, (other than the music they couldn't get rights to) is the episode lists for Disk three in each case, is behind the disk, so you have to remove the disk to see what is on that one.

I don't mind the price I paid from Amazon. Totally worth it IMO.

At least it's just the thing that holds the spindles of the double disk tray in. A low-tech fix took care of that ok enough. Still not cool though.

That happened to me when Rhino released The Monkees in the case that looks like an old record player. Season 1 came to me with a split corner. Rhino replaced it, but it arrived with a split corner again. The 2nd replacement had damage on the bottom of the box, but I decided to cut losses and just deal. Did you try contacting Shout? Take a photo of the damage and ask them to replace the case.

I think Amazon makes it very easy to return items for refund. And after all these years we are waiting for WKRP in almost fully restored condition and you are griping about the packaging? Not cool, Squirrella!
