Favorite episode? ... possible spoilers

What is your favorite episode? There are many to choose from. I think mine is "Metamorphosis". That was a very vague title. Doesn't David have a metamorphosis two times every episode? Mackenzie Phillips played troubled rock star Lisa Swan. With all due respect, she wasn't the prettiest guest on the show. But she may have been the most famous at the time. Lisa Swan's band Shock resembled the band KISS. That was probably why I loved the episode when I was a kid. I hated the roadie Greg played by actor Gary Graham. Greg was jealous of David's close friendship with Lisa and spiked his orange juice with LSD. Anyone who does something like that deserves to get pummeled by The Hulk.

Mackenzie Phillips may have taken a guest role on "The Incredible Hulk" because she was looking to start a singing career. In 1979 she was best known for playing rebellious teenager Julie Cooper on the sitcom "One Day at a Time". Her father, the late John Phillips, was leader of the legendary vocal group The Mamas & the Papas. From the mid 1980s to the early 1990s Mackenzie Phillips performed with a re-formed version of the group known as The New Mamas and The Papas.
