loved that episode it always made me tear up especially at the end after the hulk rescued ricky from the demo derby and his brother brett was just happy to him safe .

It was a good episode. Mickey Jones was great as Ricky. His brother/the race car driver's name was Buzz.

After The First Edition with Kenny Rogers broke up Jones concentrated on acting. It was Gerald McRaney's second appearance. He previously appeared in the season one "Death in the Family" episode. Robbin Mattson played Irene Shane. Mattson became known for her roles on the daytime soap operas "General Hospital", "All My Children" and "Santa Barbara". The late Gordon Jump also appeared in that episode. He was best known for the TV show "WKRP in Cincinnati".
