Still convinced that this was the best Hulk on the big or small screen, Bill Bixby did David (Bruce) Banner like nobody else has, Lou Ferrigno was way better than any CGI stuff, plus he looked more real, the emotion they both showed cannot be surpassed, gonna love watching all over again on METV

They also had that haunting music, as well.
You had to make yourself remember it's science fiction. The acting made it so real. The music is like a third character.

shareAlways loved the Hulk as a child. I thought Bill Bixby was brilliant as Dr. Banner, one of my favorite actors. He had such emotion, and you couldn't ask for somebody better to play that part. Not to mention Jack Colvin as well………his character of Jack McGee was also played so well in that series. Of course Lou Ferrigno was born to play that role. I know GCI can do things that real people can't do, however that doesn't impress me much. Real people provide emotion and feeling, CGI can't produce those things. Yes, some things at the time were somewhat primitive and there were some goofs, but so what…….you can't get that realism from CGI. I don't think I'm alone on this one either !!!

shareYou hit the nail on the head there hemi165. Just sitting down to watch a few episodes I had on my DVR of the Incredible Hulk that I had recorded off of ME TV. I had not really seen the series in a long time and still find it a lot of fun. Watching it from the beginning too. Reminds me of simple times of growing up in the 70's.
