In these days the hulk would get blown to bits

In this day and age of guns and firepower and gangs and weapons,, David banner would get shot beaten and plumped over before he could even think about turning into the hulk, or if even he got to change into the hulks, the punks of today would just empty their guns into him before he could fully change.. or shoot him to bits ..

Yep.

I have to somewhat disagree, according to some sources, depending on the intensity of the stress, the change could occur instantaneously, now the Hulk of the comics is very different from the Hulk of the show, so yes, emptying their guns would do more damage on the show than in the comics

You mean kind of like he does in the 2 most recent Hulk movies and the Avengers movies?!...Whoops.

He's been shot before in this series too. Yes, I get what you're saying...automatic weapons, gangs, etc. Depends on the situation. He is highly intelligent in this series. He ALWAYS stayed ahead of McGee for years. He'd probably evade the high-powered weapons, too. In fact, watch season 4's "Prometheus" if you haven't...widely regarded as one of the best, and to many, THE best episode of the entire series. It was #2 ONLY to "The First" to me.

In this day and age, that problem would be avoided by having the Hulk regenerate damaged cells and tissue, much like the Wolverine from the X-Men films. David getting hurt would still signal the metamorphosis and begin the healing process too.

The Hulk has a healing factor ,the madder he gets the faster He heals .
see the Grey Hulk fight the Wolverine issue .

These days the whole premise of this show would be impossible to pull off, given that most of the country is under video surveillance and every man, woman and child has a camera in their hands. Hulk would be caught on video and uploaded to youtube about 10,000 times after his first hulkout. So McGee would irrelevant and some jerkoff would catch Hulk changing back to Banner and that would that.

In the comics and movies people know Banner is the Hulk making it easier for him to get angry, the whole people not knowing has become a dying cliché now. The premise of the show had to do with some codes at the time where people can't know and can't believe he's real.

Are you being sarcastic?

Bullets? lol Gangs? lol

The Military could not take him out...Nor could aliens. He also beat abomination...

Heck did not Banner shoot himself in the head as Banner and say the 'the other guy spit it out'? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYPodDJMjOY Yet some punk gang with weapons would do him in? lol lol lol

That's in a different universe, the TV show Hulk was rarely as powerful as the Hulk in the comics. Although there are a few scenes here and there where the Hulk's strength does come close to rivaling the comics Hulk, such as when he gets stuck in the car smasher.

Truthfully, the show was never consistent on just how strong the Hulk was, he was as strong or as weak as he needed to be for a particular story to work.

Although I suppose you could justify the inconsistency by arguing that the Hulk is only as strong as Banner's anger, or only as strong as Banner needed him to be, in really extreme cases, like the car smasher, the Hulk's strength could be nearly infinite.

In these days The Hulk would be PHOTOGRAPHED. Most people have cell phones with cameras. Back in the day my mother kept a small camera in her purse. And she wasn't the only one. McGee was a reporter, but that dimwit never had a camera. The Hulk appeared at a pro football game and for some strange reason it wasn't taped. When The Hulk appeared at a concert he wasn't photographed. You weren't supposed to bring cameras to concerts, but a lot of people did.
