Is this the same movie?

I started watching a movie in my english class about the holocaust and I really got into it. However I was sick durring the week that we were watching it so I only saw about an hour or so of it. I just need to know if this is the same movie that I saw; There was a jewish goldsmith who is working at the concentration camp with his younger brother (I think), and eventually the jews rebeliate and begin to kill the capos and guards in their attempt to escape.

Thats about all that I can remember, If this is the same movie, or not, I would realy apreciate it if someone could help me out.

The one you're thinking of was called, I think, "Escape from Sobibor," based on the only successful uprising in a death camp.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that was Escape From Sobibor too as that immediately came to mind when you mentioned that. However in this film they also depict the Sobibor escape but much shorter and more condensed.But when I was watching it though it was very similar to that movie and if not for the fact this movie was made 11 years sonner I'd almost consider it plagerism. But as it was depicting a historical event accurately they probably drew upon similar source material in their research. Had I not just watched Holocaust I could easily have confused it with the Sobibor movie.
