The timeline was all wrong

I found some mistakes they did while making this miniseries concerning the timelines

I have the DVD collection
In the 2nd or 3rd of them they talk about the americans coming in and taking over north Africa so we have to be in 1943 by then. In the 4th DVD they listen to the BBC and hear about the fighting in north africa, but they already discussed this earlier

In the last DVD the escape taking place from Sobibor, taking place in 1943. But a few scenes prior to that they said that "americans are in France and russians in Budapest" and that took place in 1944

I felt it was to short. Because we hardly saw anything of Karl Weis and how he was treated at Aushwitz prior to his death in january 1945.

Dr. Quinn is considered one of the most realistic tv shows of all time and even in that show there are some inconsistencies of the time line but overall it's pretty realistic. Holocaust was a miniseries released in 1978 overall it was a story about a family thrown into the wolves of the Nazi's but for the time line I'm not really too concerned.. this is a tv show miniseries and mistakes do happen..don't take it too personally.
