Does anyone know when is this coming out on DVD in the US? I used to have the video, but somehow it got misplaced.

Why do so many things get released on DVD in Europe and Australia before the US?

The odds are that it will never be released on DVD in the US. You can always get versions of this on Amazon or Ebay. I see them all the time. If you are ever interested just make sure you buy the 3-Vol SP Mode set.

This was such a powerful min-series. I wish the powers that be would release this on DVD. Considering some of the slop that's already on DVD, this one has got to make it.

FINALLY BEING RELEASED!!!

It will be released by Paramount on May 27th. You can pre-order it on Amazon. All I know is that it will be 3 discs and is called the 30th Anniversary Edition (Hard to believe it's been 30 yrs!). Don't know if there's anything else on the disc.

just the mini series. nothing else is on the dvd.
