I am looking for a video or dvd of this mini series, preferably compatible with European standards (PAL). Is there anybody out there that can help me?

I am from Germany and shocked that this incredibly influential mini-series has NEVER been released on VHS or DVD here. It's a shame.

it has been released on VHS i have it but am wanting it on DVD any ideas

They are now broadcasting it on ARTE. If you can get that, the first part was yesterday, the rest will be broadcast today and following days. Today is 25 January 2005.

you can get a copy of the 4 disc DVD set from amazon.com france its got selectable english its zone 2 pal

im currently looking for a copy of it on video for the parents not in 21st century yet, any suggestions reasonable priced off course!!!

Its available on a 4 DVD set in France with a choice of English or French soundtrack. It can be ordered through Amazon.fr
