I've watched Schindler's List, but I've not yet watched Holocaust, so I wanted to know what is more graphic/violent out of the two? For example, in Holocaust, do you see the Jews in the gas chambers? Because in Schindler's List it's suggestive. Sometimes the less you see, the more disturbing it is. But I would just like to know various opinions.
I haven't seen Holocaust since 1978, never saw Schindler's List but I think those documentaries that the History Channel shows is worse than either movie.
You have to remember, in the respective movies, those are ACTORS who are playing Jews and Nazis. While the actors have their own faults, I don't think any of them is as evil as any Nazi.
At the end of the day, the actors (Jews and Nazis alike) can peacefully go home to their loved ones. I'm sure there are a few who wouldn't kill a fly let alone another human being (from womb to tomb).
In the documentaries, the Nazis are REAL (I like to reach through the screen and throttle them). The Jews are REAL. That's real life and those are the people who actually lived through the horrors and have the emotional and physical scars.
'Holocaust' was far more graphic FOR ITS TIME, than 'Schindler's List' was, for its own. That said, both contain scenes that may be extremely disturbing, depending on where your tastes run.
If U can smoke cigars in heaven, U can't get cancer, I hope. Shcid list was VERY violently graphic for a movie, holocaust for a Made for TV movie was very graphic as well.
Spoiler alert for them spoil sports out there! Y'all like spoiled milk, stop crying over it!
