questions about UK region 2 dvd from Revelation.

There are some questions already on here about various dvd versions of this,but I want to ask about the UK region 2 dvd from Revelation, says on the box,running time 446 minutes,may be edited from original network version.

If this version is edited what have I missed?

There were several points where I thought the story jumped a bit but I still enjoyed seeing it again.
If this is the only region 2 dvd available then I will just have to accept that fact.

I can understand that people say that the everybody looks too clean and it is not horrible enough,but how could it be?

I recall watching this drama when it was first shown in Britain and it created a sensation just like ROOTS did.
I think people in the USA,Germany and Britain became a lot more aware of the holocaust (which was a new word to us then)after seeing this programme.
