It sounds like "Crescendo" (Season 4, Episode 8) starring Toni Tennille and Monte Markham. It was a BEAUTY AND THE BEAST type story, with (if I recall correctly) Toni wanting to meet her old music teacher only to find he had turned into a beast with a face like a lion. Of course, her love for him broke the spell in the end and he became human again.
