I saw on Amazon that only the first season is on DVD yet it was released in 2005. Any words on DVDs of the other seasons?

Un-offically it has been said that there will be no more seasons released on dvd of Fantasy Island because of apparently poor sales of season one.
Whether this is true or not I don't know. However i am still hopeful, you never know with these studios, just as you think there will not be a release, up one pops, so one can hope. Fingers crossed!
Sony has a habit of releasing one or two seasons of a classic show and then stopping. This happened to Just Shoot Me, TJ Hooker, Ned & Stacey, Hart to Hart and many others.
Wikipedia mentioned that release of the other seasons is uncertain because of poor sales of season 1. I find that really sad (but somehow it figures). For some time I kept going to Sony's website trying to find some link to e-mail them and ask about release of further seasons, but I never found anything. I wonder if there is any way to contact them, so that maybe we fans can start badgering them about putting out the rest of the series.
I have videotapes of the whole series, recorded in 1994 when the fX network was just starting up and showing the reruns (naturally, edited for syndication, and sometimes very clumsily so). When the series was in prime-time I also put about two dozen episodes on audiocassette, from seasons 2, 3 and 4...and I was so looking forward to finally *seeing* those shows again in their original uncut form. Now that it's been three years since season one came out, I've almost lost hope. Maybe it's time for us fans to get together and bug Sony about finishing what they started!
