This is just an imaginary theory of mine, but wouldn't it be cool if the entire Dharma Project was actually a coverup of the real initiative which would be to create a virtual reality theme park for high paying clientele, but the whole experiment went awry a few years after its launch?

Actually, that's kind of how the MadTV spoof of Lost ended. They had the cast all sitting around and waiting while their flashbacks played out, then showing them sitting there waiting until someone would say "Flashback over?". They had Geoff Probst and his flashbacks were of him auditioning for Survivor. Then at the end the jungle background starts shaking like when the smoke monster pops out and out popped Roarke and Tattoo.
