Seriously the music is a huge problem for me. Don't get me wrong the score is good but in many scenes it needed some serious restraint. There are almost no quiet moments in the entire film, just the same score droning on and on. Its especially annoying combined with the sometimes sub-par voice dubbing, making the dialogue barely audible.
I mean there are many scenes that aren't as intense or scary as the soundtrack seems to think they are.
example:
Two characters talking to each other about something important. Meanwhile the ominous score is BLASTING over their dialogue.
Me (old man voice): What the hell are they saying?! Something about a witch?!
The soundtrack would have been way more effective if it only kicked in on scenes that are actually suspenseful or scary. And let the quiet moments actually be quiet, or have a little bit of suspenseful music playing on low volume.
If you save the world, We can do it in the *beep*
