Dear Folks, The Director/Writer says a few unfair things about Linda Miller's performance in this film. He does so in the DVD commentary as he and the film's editor discuss this movie. I think Linda Miller does a Great Job in this Classic Film. To Better Days, BRAD
I thought she was one of the more competent actors in the film. She was my anchor amongst the bore/scuzbags/bitches that co starred with her. Paula Shepard was pretty good too!
I'm wondering what you heard Alfred Sole say about Linda Miller's performance. I listened to the commentary, too, and the whole time, there was nothing but praise for everybody involved. William Lustig makes a few nasty comments, and at one point he suggests that one of the actresses is looking fat, but that was not the director who said that. If I missed something, maybe you can let me know what Alfred Sole said.
Someone else on the DVD said something to the effect that her crying was overdone during the funeral scene for "Karen." I haven't seen it for a long time now. But Alfred Sole did say that Linda was hurt during filming. Does anyone know what happened? He did not say what or how it happened.
