I honestly tried to like it...but I couldn't...it sucked.

The remake sucked...Patricia Heaton was badly miscast as Paula.

I really enjoyed the remake. Jeff Daniels is a wonderful actor, and Patricia Heaton plays wound-up and neurotic better than just about anybody these days. The original will always be the best, but the remake had a lot of charm and spunk. You just can't go wrong when you've got a Neil Simon script.

No, not the bore worms! http://www.imdb.com/mymovies/list?l=8093247

Some things are better left untouched. This is one of them. The original was perfect for the era. You just can't get those feelings back. I'm a big Heaton fan, and this was incredibly disappointing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yes the remake was a JOKE. It was EXACTLY like the original with ONE small additional scene. And Patricia Heaton was just so-so in this. I thought WHAT is the pointing of this film, or ANY remake if you don't make it DIFFERENT!? I thought at least they'd have it take place in another city or environment!
