I wonder if Dreyfuss was high during this movie?
I'm not saying that in judgement, it's just that his performance is so manic, so kinetic...there's that scene where he has been making out with MM and as he returns to his room he leaps up on the door frame and does a monkey impression! It looked unscripted to me, but it just typified all the energy he seemed to have for the whole of this movie. I love every second he's on screen, every line is so sharp and delivered so brilliantly - without him it would be quite a mushy, late-Seventies type movie, a soft-centred Mork and Mindy kind of thing.
Awight we're The Daamned we're a punk baand and this is called Carn't Be Appy T'day!
