The crazy brother joke

My take on it:
The man in the joke wants the product (eggs) of something (chicken) his brother claims to be but isn't. Alvi also wants things out of love (happiness? relief? distraction?), things he will probably never obtain, because love is just a concept. It is a concept in his mind, but also in the mind of the person he's in a relationship with, which renders things even more abstract and unreal. He dismisses that fact and keeps searching for what he wants out of love, but it's a wild goose chase. Pun intended.
I hope this makes sense.
