Laserdisc is the only uncut version

I see the bootleg Cheezy Flicks DVD is listed as running 1hr. 44 min, and there are a couple of threads here about uncut vs cut. The film was rated X by the MPAA and released in May 1977. It was then pulled and trimmed , resubmitted and given a more widely releasable R rating. The long OOP laserdisc was uncut and was the original X rated version which runs approx 1hr. 45 min and 37 seconds.
Cuts include some gore in the infamous baby scene, and some of the more outrageous / excessive dialog was removed. There has to be more footage removed as the R version runs a minute or so shorter, but I don't have the cut version to compare it to.
Suffice to say the softening alterations nuetered a bit of Carroll Baker's very brave and skillful performance, and made the film just so much less shocking, funny and enjoyable. The censor cuts made for the ratings reduction removed part of the film's unique charm and provides another example of why sanitising art for mainstream digestion sucks.

I dunno about this... I'm watching the laserdisc version right now and the baby scene is exactly the same as the Cheezy Flicks DVD. The bad language and racism are also in the Cheezy Flicks DVD. Even the close-ups of the adult magazine are present in both versions.
