Seven Notes in Black ¿?
why the movies is called Seven Notes in Black? i dont get it
It's a reference to the the song that her watch plays. The repeating melody is of seven black notes. Great little tune! Hauntingly beautiful and ingeniously simple. Love it when the orchestra comes in and starts building in suspense. Awesome!
shareThanks for the answer and thanks for taking the time to give it
shareThe melody actually can't be played entirely on the black notes of a keyboard — there's a minor second, an interval that doesn't exist between any pair of black notes, between the fifth and sixth notes. My guess is that "in black" refers to death, à la "Black Sunday."
shareThe "Seven Notes" reference, everyone seems to have gotten. "In Black" refers to the literal darkness the notes are being played in, as out heroine is walled up without any light.
Seven Notes (playing) in Black.
That was my take.
