Season 3 - who is 'Sweater Guy'?

I've been watching the Season 3 episodes on FLN.

There is a recurring non-speaking character who appears in many episodes during scenes in the newsroom. He sometimes appears more than once. He's a stout, middle-aged guy with wavy gray hair and big glasses, almost always wearing a sweater or sweater vest. He's usually sitting at a desk behind the main characters, or moving around in the background.

He looks kind of familiar but I can't place him. Anybody know?

There are two more regulars in the background:

A tall, young white guy with reddish-brown hair and beard, usually seen delivering mail.

A 30-ish black man, medium height, with short-trimmed mustache and beard, and a moderate "afro."

These folks appear in many episodes. It must have been fun, hanging around in the background of this fine show.
