Happy birthday Robert Walden!

Those of you who are true die-hard Lou Grant fans will know Robert Walden turns 60 today (9/25). True, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones also have a birthday today, but this is REALLY important stuff. Why not celebrate at home with a Robert Walden film festival of your own--All The President's Men, The Fluffer, Capricorn One, and of course lots of Lou Grant reruns!

(A couple of days before his 64th birthday--he's less than a month younger than I am)

Don't forget _The Hospital_--one of my fond film memories is of "Brubaker the Resident" explaining to George C. Scott how someone came into the hospital healthy and ended up near death in ICU with a severely damaged (liver? kidney?) and all sorts of other complications. I remember reading at the time an interview with Walden where he said that he had spoken with a number of residents, and had discovered that key to the part was fatigue--he made sure that in all of his scenes he was leaning on something or otherwise showing signs of being completely wiped. --Howard

A couple of days late for... um... 67 is it?
Belated B-day wishes to the man who brought us Joe Rossi. Man, I love that guy!
