Ridiculous
A blue eyed Jesus. What a crock.
shareEye color is important to you? . . .
shareJesus' human ethnicity is, yes. He was a Jew.
'Then' and 'than' are different words - stop confusing them.
Hmmm. David, Jesus' great, great ... grandfather, is said to have had red hair. Many Jews today have blue eyes and blonde hair. There were 1,000 + years of inter-ethnic marriages among the Jewish community before Jesus was born, and to be completely Jewish even the most orthodox Jews demand only that the mother be of unblemished Jewish descent.
Additionally, and most importantly, the Christianized world portrays, in art, Jesus as a man of many different ethnicities -- almost any you can think of, actually. This bigger view and, I think, the important objective of a bio-pic about Jesus, concerns the 'reason for' and the 'message of' the spiritual Jesus - his impact on world history. Thus, the importance of the eye or hair color, length of hair, etc. of an actor seem more important to today's literalist theater-goers than to others who are looking for something more substantial in the drama of his story. But . . . to each his own, as they say.
I've never seen a better screen portrayal of Jesus than that of H. B. Warner in KING OF KINGS (1927.)
Secret Message, HERE!--->CONGRATULATIONS!!! You've discovered the Secret Message!
There are blue eyed Semites and I don't just mean European Jews, but also the Semitic peoples that remained in the Middle East whether they are Jews, Christians, or Muslims.
shareHe might have had his father's eyes.
There are blue eyed people born in the Middle East, it's not like it never happens.

Yes Robert Powell plays good, but he is more like a Norwegian than a Jew.
shareHe is an obviously Norwegian Jew.

You're an idiot. A Jewish man cannot have blue eyes? Where have you lived all your life? Wow, what ignorance...
