I knew that all of the fans email to Universal would pay off. Hell, I probably emailed them once every few weeks myself.
I was very happy to first read about this however I was a little upset due to the fact that I just, about a week ago, burned my season 2 and 3 vhs copies onto dvd. I kept waiting to do it and then finally came to the conclusion that season 2 would most likely never see the light of day. Boy was I wrong. Talk about Murphy's Law. Lol.
I emailed them a few times myself. Can't wait.
I don't know why they didn't just include season 3 of the Hardy Boys in with this set. There were only 8 episodes in that season. 10 episodes if you count the 2 parters as separate episodes.

Hallelujah!! Finally this is being released...probably to coincide with this summer's "Nancy Drew" movie...this season has a lot of fun guest stars, including Dennis Weaver, Jaclyn Smith, Paul Williams, Rick Springfield (as Ned Nickerson!) and Maureen 'Marcia Brady' McCormick. The only sad aspect is Pamela Sue Martin's midway departure as Nancy Drew; she was sorely missed. Let's pray Universal adds a few extras to this exciting season!

shareTheir only releasing Season 2 because that Nancy Drew Movie is coming out in June, so The Hardy Boys Season 3 should be released around the time as that Hardy Men movie, the one with Ben Stiller and Tom Snooze(Cruise). It's about marketing the best time for release.
It's like if they made another Charlie's Angels movie, then Seasons 4 and 5 would get released faster.

Just last night my sister and I were talking about the Hardy Boys wondering if it was available on DVD. Checked it out this morning and ordered season 1 and pre-order season 2. Hardy Boys was our favorite show when it first aired back in 1977 and we will definately enjoy again.
