i remember watching this show at sunday mornings

It was on Sunday nights, 7 p.m. eastern, ABC.

I remember the same thing- Sundays after church. I'd have sworn to it, but everything I've seen says it was only on in the evenings.

This series, from the 1970s, was indeed on Sundays at 7 at night. There was a different Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys mystery series on Sunday mornings (i think around 11 AM) in the 90s. It was much the same concept, alternating weeks of ND & the HBs, but each episode was only a half hour. They're listed separately on imdb:
