Hardy Boys Meet Dracula - Was Paul Williams drunk?

I love Paul Williams and have heard he had troubles during the 70s with drugs and alcohol. Was watching the Dracula episode on YouTube and there's a scene where Williams is wrongly arrested and he tells the cops that he's going to get his lawyer and sue everyone. Except he sounds half-asleep. Was he drunk when he filmed that scene?

yea he looked like a booze hound and was likely hitting the bottle pretty hard during filming



I must've watched a completely different episode because Paul Williams didn't act drunk at all. In fact I thought he did a pretty good job. He was a big name way back then.
