I thought Bruce did a good job filling in for Erik. It would seem weird watching it now knowing how he turned out.

Oh I didn't realize that was him/her. I thought he/her only did reality TV

Yeah it's him. He was so huge back then as an athlete, I guess they capitalized on his star power to replace Ponch. He blended into the show rather nicely from what I remember.
