Day of the Robot

The writers and producers really didn't care anymore, did they? No wonder Tom Reilly turned to ludes.

A robot episode?

Good thing the series was cancelled before Ponch fell in love with a mermaid! 

Freeway Angels?

My spleen hurts! 

Too bad the robot wasn't a female -- like Paulie's in Rocky IV.

Woulda been a good date for Harlan.

reply

That was brutal!

How did anyone keep a straight face during filming of that hospital "rescue" scene?

Bruce kinda reminded me of Burt Ward as Robin ...

reply

LOL, that scene with the hospital room falling apart reminded me of something from The Exorcist. Thank God Bruce got them those lead aprons, otherwise they would've been screwed!! Holy sh it.

Was really ridicules ! Season 6 is so funny! I'm entertained by it, but every ep is like a little sillier than the one before!

LOL At Harlan being jealous of Merv the robot. That was funny, and the scene at the children's hospital was really cheesy and funny!

One of the over 20 goofs I noted for this episode was the fact that they wore live ammunition and none of it was set off, yet the heat was so intense many other things were damaged.

Hollywood: See a gun, hear it get cocked!

What about that kid sleeping through all the chaos?!

reply

That would have been one of the few plausible items, as they could have been medicated or in an induced coma.

Oddly for this show, there were a few things that were shown correctly in the first "Freeway Angels" stop:
Officers cannot write tickets for minor violations they did not witness.
Nelson went with the passenger when he had to turn off the radio. It's an officer safety procedure.
Poncherello was correct in his assessment of searches without cause or consent.
