More random close-captioning observations

"Tiger in the Streets" -

Apparently the 'villain-of-the-week' - the vengeful ex-con mechanic - was referring to a Hispanic member of the Jaguars car club as 'Taco' at least three or four times during the ep. Audibly it was edited out but the CC still showed it. (We need more tolerance in this world, anyway - it wasn't missed.)

Also, a conversation scene between Jon and the animal control officer at the half-way mark was cut short. Additional dialogue was showing but the scene went to the second chase which ended with the big slo-mo tumble/crash. ("Cut to the chase," indeed.) 

I have noticed lots of other unusual things with closed captioning. I suppose no one bothered to check before broadcasting the series. Do these exist in DVD versions? Anyway, it makes it interesting to watch episodes that happen to be boring.
