Yeah, turns out the chunky lad was in the Bad News Bears tv show, but none of the movies. And Ponch's date by the pool was Kathy Shower, Playboy Playmate of the year 1986. Way to go, Ponch.
I think this is right where little Bruce starts getting a more prominent role. I'm sure if Chips had lasted another season, Bobby would have been "reassigned" to Sacramento and Bruce would have become Ponch's regular partner.
