Now Me TV Is Showing the Sucky Episodes

Without Larry Wilcox.

Why did he leave and how was Jon Baker written out?

Does CHiPs '99 contradict that in any way?

Found this about halfway down the first page of posts. The title may have thrown you off when you saw it: 

Just asking what happend to Jon?

RIP Ron Swanson. Writers created your awesomeness in S1 and killed it in S7

Jon Baker went home to work his family's ranch. Larry Wilcox quit because he was tired of Erik Estrada's jockeying for supremacy on the show. CHiPs 99 retconned Jon's departure; he was the one who stayed, and Ponch was the one who left.

Well, that's stupid.

Thanks for the info.

The season 6 episodes are doing very well with Me-TV viewers. Currently, they haven't finished airing all the final season offerings, but three of them are in the top 10 here on the IMDb as being rated highly out of all the show's episodes. The Laura Brannigan episode, 'Fox Trap,' is number one. 'Firepower,' where Bobby and Ponch go undercover as members of a biker gang, is on the list and down at number ten is 'Fun House,' the fraternity house episode with Stephen Furst (Heather O'Rourke is in the subplot with Bruce).
