Season 3 episodes aired out of sequence?

Watching the Season 3 DVDs, I got to wondering something. Were some of the episodes aired out of sequence from when they were supposed to?

In episodes 1-3, Officer Clark is on the show. In episode 4 (High Octane), Officer Cahill is back.

In episodes 7 and 8, Ponch is injured after his crash in episode 7. In episodes 9/10 (Drive, Lady, Drive), he's back on his motorcycle. In episode 11 (The Watch Commander), he's on desk duty, recovering from his accident, and in the following episode, he again has a brace on his right wrist.

I saw the same thing. I think they decided to just mix the order up a little so Ponch would be around a little more here and there. I wish they would have just shown then in the right order. So I do believe the DVD's are in the original order that the shows were shown.

I knew something wasn't right about the episodes. I guess if I had watched them a few more times, I would have caught on.
