Recurring cars

As a car buff, it's neat to see the same now classic cars in several episodes. Here are a few off the top of my head:
In season 1 so far, there has been a silver Mustang II, and I recall seeing it in later seasons.

While the police cars lagged behind by a few years, the Season 1 CHP bikes were the one-year-only wire-wheel 1977 KZ900 Police Special. They must have used older KZ1000C/P models as time went on, as I noticed gray smoke on more than one occasion when they were accelerating.

The later seasons must have been really tight on money. There was a "ramp car" (looks like a Lincoln or Mercury) that was painted several different colors, usually blue or brown. It was used to launch one or more cars that rear-ended it, and you can often see the ramp behind it or the one built onto the roof.

There was also a Yellow Datsun Z-car with a black spoiler and a two-tone Datsun 200SX.

It was funny to see the road rage incident a few nights ago between a Ford and a Chevy. The Chevy alternated between a 1966 and a 1968 model several times.
