when should we get a trailer and poster. they've been done with filming but its almost Christmas but have gotten any teasers or anything. I could see something with Rogue One. but I think that probably is a stretch. I've never seen the original CHIPS I'm just excited for the remake becauses it supposedly gonna be Rated R

How can you be excited for the remake when you've never seen the original? What are you waiting for, just watch the original series, it's awesome! I don't have high hopes at all for the new movie, reboot / remakes usually always stink.

as to your question about watching the original meh I was born in the 90s (December 8th 1991 so I'm a 90s baby but my dad. grandmother. and uncle all watched the original and according to them it was dumb as was Rockford files both were nothing but retards. I've never seen a single episode of dark shadows either but I loved the 2012 remake
I'm hoping the chips remake is filled with profanity and vince vaughns remake of rockford files is filled with profanity if they are i'll enjoy both. as to why I'm excited for this? as I stated because of the rumored R rating Hollywood needs more R rated movies. if you hate R rated movies your a dumbass

The new movie looks more like the 21 Jump Street remake than it does the original CHiPs series. The TV show was a police drama a la late 70s.
