I had no idea that zip cuffs were used back in 1976.

I just watched this. I thought they didn't have zip cuffs until the 80s/90s.

They've been around since 1965. They had to come up with something else besides regular cuffs for multiple perps as cops never carry more than one set of traditional handcuffs.
