I always thought of her as that auntie from that TV show until I saw here in this. Damn.

I re-watched Taxi Driver recently and one thing I never noticed when I first saw it as a teenager: Cybill Shephard is AWFUL. Her performance is so flat and emotionless. Apparently it's been said that Scorsese had to feed her line readings to try and get a credible performance out of her and I believe it. Scorsese's not without blame, either. It's also rumored he hired her because she had a big ass.

It got me thinking, what are some other terrible performances in great movies?

Beautiful women can act like that.

Not very emotive because they can just get what they want with a smile.

I think she played the part well, I know many beautiful women who act the same way.

Except she didn't have a big ass. She had a nice figure, sure, but she could hardly be described as having a "big ass."
