Anybody know the name of the song played when...

John Norman is talking to Gary Busey in the studio and they are watching the member's of John's band play without him? John is telling Gary's character about how he has met some new men, and how they have a different sound and how the new men are "hungry". I already have the soundtrack, and this song isn't on there. Anybody know what the name of the song is, and what cd I can find it on, and the name of the artist is? I'd really appreciate it. I posted a question about this before, and someone responded with how great the soundtrack is-I already have it. If you don't know, please don't respond. Thanks.

This track was played by Kristofferson's "band" and was recorded live in the recording studio set. It has never been released and nor do we ever get to know what it's called or who wrote it, mores the pity.

However the scene features a tall red-headed young man with his back to the camera who appears to be the singer. Corroborating this fact is an outtake featured where we see the red-head who gets to meet with Kristofferson's character.

And you're right. As a fan of this film and sountrack for over 30 years I would love to get this track too. Has a catchy tune.

I posted another inquiry about this song-it is driving me CRAZY-tell me. I watched the outtakes on my DVD-I saw that one of the musicians in the band introduced the red-headed singer as "Koeppel". He stated in his line that he had to keep re-purchasing all of John Norman Howard's records because his father kept throwing them out, and that it was really great to meet him. He is a RedHead-WHO is this GUY? Anyone know his name?
