shareEveryone here is drunk.
Nothing exists more beautifully than nothing.
i don'y know, but that wig was whiter than chalk
shareI'm a dude and that was the first thing that I noticed...She's a MAN! lol That being said I also theorized the reason that Stix was having a hard time getting the girls booked was that it was a gay club...or at the very least the owner was gay. Now, I'm just not sure what relevance that had to the overall story line.
sharehow was the owner gay when he saw a picture of sister he agreed to book them.So he might of had an interest in women And there were alot of people in the club like Satin that weren't gay. But i do believe that was a man.
shareI said the same exact thing when I saw him/her. I always thought that he/she just looked really masculine.
shareIt is a man, and just because a man is gay, doesn't mean he can't appreciate an attractive and sexy woman! Gay people have lionised beautiful women for decades!

Yes, of course, gay as well as straight men can appreciate a beautiful woman, and yes, of course, that was a gay club (this film had a gay screenwriter, if that has any relevance). But I wonder if the club owner gave in based on the picture or the persistence?
I think that scene was awkwardly handled, making it look like because he found "the ugly one" beautiful, he decided to book the act. I suspect he just decided to give them a chance based on the hard-sell.
I'm so happy someone asked this question. I saw this movie yesterday on BET and I was thinking the same thing. Why was he/she always sitting in the same spot at the bar, and never spoke? And he/she was always under a bright light, while the rest of the movie was filmed very dark.
