'Sparkle' to be remade in Detroit.
.........All though there have been a number of false starts "Sparkle" is do to be remade in Detroit. The choice of the Motor City is partly the result of Michigan's tax credit program for movies, filmed in the state, but since the original story was loosely inspired by the Supremes maybe a Motown setting might really be an improvement.
