I loved this movie 30 years ago when I was young and a hopeless romantic. When Marian asked Robin, 'Do you still think I'm beautiful' it took my breath away. Today, even more so.
share"Robin and Marian" has become one of my favorite movies, and I agree that it is a very touching romantic film. I have to say I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so.
Although I love the whole film, I think the scene with Marian examining Robin's scars and then removing her nun's wimple is my favorite. If they had been played by any actors other than Audrey Hepburn and Sean Connery, this scene(as well as the ending--won't give it away for those who haven't seen the film-)might have seemed overly sentimental, but with them...oh it's wonderful.
