Rita Moreno = inspiration for Pacino's Scarface
With her incredible performance as Googie,it's clearly obvious that Al Pacino used her accent to voice his Tony Montana in Scarface. I finally got to see The Ritz & it was non-stop hilarity! I couldn't believe my ears when Googie started speaking. It's exactly like in Scarface!!! Pretty amazing, and makes sense too, since I heard Rita is Pacino's favorite actress of all time. F. Murray Abraham is in both "The Ritz" & "Scarface" as well & is hilarious!!!
