I saw this movie in the theater and I remember how hysterical it was. I don't think there's any way this film could be made today because of the subject matter. Too bad. A remake would also be great.

Oh, this movie could be made today.
The change is that instead of being cute and a little risque, the movie would have graphic sex scenes. It may also have some drug usage and more explicit language.
It's just about impossible to make cute movies on adult topics these days. The movies always have to be so graphic, realistic and gritty. Even when they are nonsensical. Good thing we have so many movies taped from the days before everyone was so serious.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.share
They had a revival of the play here in NYC a few years back.
