pink panther films on dvd
i have seen these films to buy on dvd they look great one thing is missing the return of pink panther why is that not on the box set
shareApparantly, the rights to "The Return of the Pink Panther" are not owned by MGM, though the other Sellers Panther films are. So the box set gives "Return" a miss, and instead gives us "The Pink Panther", "Shot in the Dark", "Strikes Again," "Revenge" and "Trail". It's a shame really, as isn't "Return" one of the more integral films of the series, in the fact that it's the one where Dreyfus first goes insane? I haven't seen any of these films yet, though, since I'm a great fan of Sellers, my mum has bought me this DVD set for my birthday. :)

Where are you guys finding the boxed set?
As "Return" is the only Panther DVD that I do have (and am watching right now, coincidentally), I'd love to know where I can find the rest of them.
I've seen a few of them as separates but not together in a set.

I just bought the DVD box set and I just realized that THe Return of the Pink Panther isn't in it and I'm really pissed off. That sucks!

Did you get the new one? The 40th Anniversary one, i mean.
I'm either gonna have to save up all my money or drop hints like crazy to everyone around me 'cause I absolutely HAVE to have it!!!
And yeah, "Return" isn't included. I think it has something to do with the fact that it was produced by a different company or something.
I'm pretty sure you can still get ahold of that one in the stores, though.
But, if you can't, there's always Ebay!

Yeah I got the special edition box set that contains an extra DVD with bonus material. My B-Day was comming up and I was dropping hints to everyone, but I could wait that long or take the chance noone would get it so I got it myself.
