My idiot friend thinks the music from the DVD menu uses a synthesized saxophone on the melody part. He is a dumbass. Does anyone have proof that it is in fact a real saxophone? I realize this is a stupid topic, but I want to prove my friend wrong because he is an idiot, as aforementioned. Thanks.

The music on the DVD menus for the Pink Panther DVD Collection all seem to have the exact same TERRIBLE midi rendition of the Pink Panther theme. It's really quite embarassingly bad.
This means that your friend is 110% correct... the only way it could be construed as real is that at some point a real saxophone was recorded as a sample. In other words, it's fake as fake can be.
MGM apparently spent NO time in putting the DVD set together if they would put something that cheap/terrible into the menus.
