Is this that movie where...

I made a post in the "I Need To Know" IMDB section looking for an old movie I had seen as a child, but I could only remember one scene. Someone mentioned that Futureworld may have had a similar scene or premise, but this user is not sure. Hoping that some of the fans who are more familiar with this movie might recognize my description, I am going to quote the post I made over there.


"Honestly, I do not remember much of this movie at all, but some images from it have been burned into my mind ever since I saw it as a child. From what I remember the protagonists of the film need to get into a compound that is run by androids. The entrance is guarded with a face/eye scanner and a keypad. One of the protagonists cuts off the face of a dead android, and by securing it over his own he able to go through the scanner.

It seems like I remember them using a video camera to obtain the keypad password, someone may have had a beard, and there may have been some flying robots. I've been imagining the characters dressed the same as those in the film SCREAMERS, but that may have been implanted over the years. I assume it was based in the future, or on some other planet.

If this rings a bell to anyone that would be great, as I've wondered for quite some time now what that movie was. Sorry I can't offer more information than that. I believe the film was made in the 70's or 80's, but if it were made in the 90's then it was the very early 90's."
