So bad its addictive...

I caught part of this on cable the other day and found every aspect of this movie so hilariously bad that I could not stop watching.

Peter Fonda alone is sooo bad that he deserves some type of award.

Am I wrong? Was this all tongue in cheek?

If MST 3000 ever got a hold of this I think they could probably riff over it for months.

I don't want to start a war, though. I'm really interested in hearing other's thoughts on this film. I don't want to be called out as a "Worst movie ever" type of poster because I am not.

I'm just truly interested. If you appreciate this movie, can you tell me why?

Fonda seemed to have watched "ALL THE PRESIDENTS MEN" and was trying to act like Robert Redford acting like Bob Woodward.

The Yul Brynner scene is just painful to watch.

The cinematography has all the magic of a Saturday Morning Cartoon.

Futureworld gets 1 squirt out of five on the piss-meter.

I will have to agree to a degree. Finally saw it after all these years and it just felt hollow with some tackiness in the mix. It really made WESTWORLD look so much better. I really felt bored watching it in the end result.

I had bought West World two weeks back, and then when on Amazon, Future World bluray popped up, so I said why not, thinking of those old Famous Monsters of Filmland magazines, I believe issue 129 had the faceless robot in overalls on the cover.

The glory years remembered, I got it and was SO disappointed. This wasn't about a resort/park, it was about a warehouse that they cloned people in. As others have mentioned in other topics, it felt like a bad Friday night movie of the week. Bad camera work, bad acting, bad plot, bad everything.

This thing sucked. Don't waste your money unless you want to see just how dull a sequel can be.
I was BEGGING for this thing to end the last 45 minutes.

Always liked Westworld and considered JP to be a cheap cash in remake using the same plot. Futureworld is a lovely 70s tacky kitsch with a pretty good conspiracy plot. Tis a ton of fun. Was watching futureworld today, first time in years and struck by how well the movie plot holds together.
