Medical examination scene

When the two reporters were asleep they were hauled away for examination. Some of the stuff they did to them was kind of freaky.

I seem two remember two things.

1. X Ray image of one of them swallowing something and you could see the jaw and spine and track whatever it was they were being made to swallow. That freaked me out..

2. Blythe Danners scene she had this machine that was spinning and it as it kept spinning it was going down her mouth and throat.. It just looked eerie and freaky.

Of course you do not see all that they do to them but I imagine they were thoroughly examined in every way possible..

Wouldn't you wake up through any of that or were they heavilly drugged?

reply

they were drugged, don't you remember they made an announcement that the dinner was drugged they were asleep and ready to be transported, they had 5 hours to do everything and get them back to their rooms

... were they heavilly drugged?
It was a really weak movie, but it was very clear they were drugged and anaesthetized during the a-hem, procedures that were performed on them. I somehow doubt the Peter Fonda character would have been sprightly moving around as he was the next morning. At least the Blythe Danner character seemed to show some after effects.🐭
