This is supposed to be set in LA area but it does not work. Amanda is on teh corner of Sunset Blvd selling maps. Sunset had rows of Palm in the 70s, as would every ball field. This looks more like Virginia or Ohio!

Where was this filmed?

The ball field is in Mason Park in Chatsworth - no palm trees there, ever! I also don't believe that Amanda was on Sunset Boulevard, but it's almost impossible to tell where she is.

if you doubt it you can clearly see, in the background, what can only be California-style mountains

^^ Not only that, in the scene where they are cleaning the pool you can see the San Fernando Valley in the background. The OP is just a moron in denial.

Yes, it was filmed in the 818 (SFV). Although, I think back in the 70's it was still the 213.

Sunset Blvd and North Mapleton in Los Angeles where they filmed that. Look on Google Street View, it matches up

You're obviously not from LA. Sunset is a long and winding arterial road and most of it does not and never has had rows of palm trees.
